וְהָיָה֙ אֲר֣וֹן יְהוָ֔ה בָּ֖א עִ֣יר דָּוִ֑ד וּמִיכַ֨ל בַּת־שָׁא֜וּל נִשְׁקְפָ֣ה ׀ בְּעַ֣ד הַחַלּ֗וֹן וַתֵּ֨רֶא אֶת־הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ דָּוִד֙ מְפַזֵּ֤ז וּמְכַרְכֵּר֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וַתִּ֥בֶז ל֖וֹ בְּלִבָּֽהּ׃
Ketika tabut Yang Mahakekal masuk ke Kota Daud, Mikhal anak perempuan Saul menjenguk dari jendela, lalu melihat Raja Daud melompat-lompat dan menari-nari di hadapan Yang Mahakekal. Maka ia memandang rendah Daud di dalam hatinya.
